Acceptable Use Policy

Last Updated: 26 May 2026

SchoolVerse is a learning platform. Everything you do here should be in the spirit of honest personal growth and respect for other learners. This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the conduct rules that all users — learners, teachers, parents, and administrators — must follow at all times.

1. Prohibited Conduct

You must not use SchoolVerse to:

  • Share your account — your login credentials are personal and must not be given to anyone else, including family members or friends.
  • Use another person's account — logging into, or attempting to log into, another learner's account is prohibited and will result in immediate suspension.
  • Automate interactions — use bots, scripts, or automated tools to earn XP, complete lessons, or manipulate learning analytics.
  • Impersonate others — create a false identity, impersonate a teacher, administrator, or another learner.
  • Distribute test answers — share, publish, or sell assessment questions, answers, or solution keys obtained through SchoolVerse.
  • Harass or bully — engage in any conduct that is threatening, abusive, discriminatory, or harmful to another user (applicable in any collaborative feature).
  • Upload harmful content — submit or upload malware, viruses, inappropriate images, or content that violates any law.
  • Attempt to breach security — attempt to access systems, data, or APIs beyond your authorised scope; conduct penetration testing without written permission; or exploit platform vulnerabilities. Responsible disclosure is welcome at security@schoolverse.app.
  • Reverse engineer the platform — decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract source code, AI models, or proprietary algorithms from SchoolVerse.
  • Commercial exploitation — resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any part of the platform without written authorisation.

2. Academic Integrity

SchoolVerse assessments and labs are designed to reflect your personal understanding. Academic honesty is a core value of the platform:

  • Do not collaborate on individually assessed tests unless explicitly permitted by the test instructions.
  • Do not share screenshots or recordings of locked test content.
  • Do not use external AI tools to generate answers to SchoolVerse assessments unless the specific test explicitly permits it.
  • Saphala Sage (AI Mentor) is a learning aid and may be used to understand concepts — not to bypass assessments.

Schools that detect academic integrity violations within their tenant should report them to their School Administrator, who can escalate to SchoolVerse if the platform is being used to facilitate cheating.

3. Enforcement

Violations of this AUP may result in the following actions, applied progressively based on severity and frequency:

  1. Formal warning — an email notice with a description of the violation.
  2. Temporary suspension — account access is paused for a defined period (typically 7–30 days).
  3. XP forfeiture — XP earned during or through the violation is removed.
  4. Permanent termination — the account is permanently closed. Paid course entitlements are voided without refund for egregious or repeated violations.

Severe violations — including security breaches, account trading, or distributing test answers at scale — may be reported to appropriate legal authorities.

4. Appeals

If you believe an enforcement action was applied incorrectly, you may appeal within 14 days by writing to appeals@schoolverse.app with a written explanation. Include your account email, the action taken, and your reasoning. Appeals are reviewed by a different team member than the original decision-maker. Appeal outcomes are final.

5. Reporting Violations

If you witness a violation of this policy, please report it:

Reports are treated confidentially. We do not tolerate retaliation against good-faith reporters.

Governing Law

This Acceptable Use Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts located in Andhra Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to the use of SchoolVerse, Saphala Elevate, or associated services.
