Refund Policy

We want every learner to feel confident before purchasing on SchoolVerse. This policy sets out when and how you can request a refund for paid courses and subscriptions.
1. Eligibility Window
Refund requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of the original purchase date. Requests submitted after this window will not be eligible, except in cases of technical errors on our platform that prevented access.
2. Progress Threshold
To be eligible for a refund, meaningful progress on the purchased course must not have been made. "Meaningful progress" is defined as completing more than 20% of the course content (lessons, assessments, or labs). Learners who have crossed this threshold are not eligible for a refund, as substantial value has already been delivered.
3. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances:
- Courses purchased during a promotional or discounted campaign unless the discount itself was applied in error.
- Courses or subscriptions purchased more than 7 days ago.
- Courses where more than 20% progress has been recorded.
- Institutional (B2B) subscriptions — these are governed by the institutional agreement and are refunded only as per the agreed contract terms.
- XP boosts, avatar items, or any virtual goods (if and when introduced).
4. Refund Process
To request a refund:
- Email support@schoolverse.app with the subject line: "Refund Request — [Your Name] — Order ID".
- Include your registered email address, the Order ID (visible in your purchase confirmation email), the course name, and the reason for the refund request.
- We will review your request within 5 business days.
- If approved, the refund will be credited to your original payment method within 7–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
5. Technical Access Failures
If you purchased a course and were unable to access it due to a platform error on our side (not a network, device, or browser issue on your end), you are eligible for a full refund regardless of the 7-day window. Report these cases to support@schoolverse.app with a description of the issue and, if possible, a screenshot.
6. Chargebacks
We strongly encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Unjustified chargebacks will result in suspension of your account pending investigation. If a chargeback is resolved in your favour by your bank, the associated course entitlement will be revoked.
Governing Law
This Refund Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts located in Andhra Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to the use of SchoolVerse, Saphala Elevate, or associated services.
